Got some more leaves completed, and a big chunk of blue done; 1/2 stitches can be bliss ^^ although abit hard to make out :thinks:

It's really coming along, isn't it.

And it just so happens I'm watching a little wren darting in and out of the briar rose. Awww!

Good progress -- and aren't they nice birds to watch, Serinde? In Dutch they're known as "winter king" (actually a diminutive, it's such a little bird and the Dutch LOVE diminutives big time :-)) or "little John" (doubly small, as it uses the diminutive plus the word "little" ). *thinks of English ways to show the diminutive -- -let as in droplet and booklet? which would make it "winter kinglet" and "little johnlet", doesn't sound right, does it :-)?)

Very nice pic, and good progress, beautifully neat stitching. :applesauce:

I love wrens; and I have one visit my garden, too. Don't see it often, though, they are secretive little birds.

Been a while since I updated, thank you all for your comments :grouphug:
Here's my progress, I've been doing mostly the blue  I'm also following the example of some by doing the backstitch while I go and it's definatly making me happier (no backstitch to look forward to at the end! :D)

It look wonderful Jess
I did find the backstitching was quite relaxing when done as you go, it makes a change from x's, and it's great to have the work come alive so soon, great progress :D
