have unpicked, and re-stitched, although a lil bit does look messy. it's not bothering me too much atm. but I want to pick the entire bottom bit, only to find out I've run out threads, so I cant finish it. So the plan is to carry on and complete the ship, and if I have enough threads left over then I will unpick and re-stitch to tidy it up. But I dont think it will be too noticeable. But we will see when it's finished.

1st page finished

am doing the backstitch. I looked at the chart and though "meh there not that much backstitch, I don't know what they are all going on about!" How wrong was I?

I have decided to do the page directly above it to get rid of all the boring white of sail done!

theres 9 pages of chart and then 9page of the chart again but with added backstitch. I'm not finding difficult, but I hurt my wrist the other day cleaning around 30 skewers inn one go (one skewer has 2 prong thingys and holds 3 chickens) and now my wrist hurts  so I'm finding it more painful :(

Sorry to hear about your wrist! I seem to do something to mine every couple of months--usually kids pulling on it too much. The pirate ship is looking great!

Lisa -- this looks really good. Too bad about all the backstitching. I am so not a fan of backstitching. You are making good progress though! :applesauce:
