Hi guys I bought this material because my daughter loves stars.
So now I am finding it hard to pick a pattern that would look good on it. She likes butterflys, penguins an llamas. I don't see any of these things working well with this material. I have asked her if she has a favorite quote or song that she really likes but I am still wondering what exactly would work with the stars that are printed on the fabric. On the "New Game" posts there was a pattern that was a rainbow heart that was really nice. I was thinking that maybe if htere was something like that only as a star that might work. Have not found anything yet. So advice is needed and appreciated.

My first thought was - something nightly. What about some nice "christmas eve" pattern? If she likes them.
Something like this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/%22Christmas-Eve% ... 4002r29884" target="_blank" target="_blank - but not exactly this, because you would need a pattern where you don't have to stitch the whole background.

It's a lovely fabric but I can see how it's going to be difficult to find the right design for it! How about an angel, either stitched in so many strands that any stars she is in front of are completely covered, so that only the stars around her are still visible, or in just one strand so the stars sort of shimmer through hr?
I tried loads of stitching sites yesterday and couldn't come up with anything right - then this morning I found ... Brittercup designs. We've had a few of these on the forum before and I think the style is just right for your fabric.
Thanks so much Susan. I will send these over to my daughter and see what she thinks. This one is not a surprise I actually want her to pick what she thinks should go on it.
