Mel, what's your thoughts on the lights threads, are they getting easier to work with the more you use them?
I just love the effect you've got som much, I'm really tempted to have a go with them at some point, but just want to get your thoughts on them first.

TB - working with them isn't the real problem (just use plenty of Thread Heaven or similar) - it's actually the "storing" of them that's I've finding a problem. They came pre-sorted on the thread sorter cards which didn't work to well as they work loose from the loop. I tried winding them onto bobbins but again they just unwound. I've accepted that they have a mind of their own!! The only real nightmare is that the normal thread and sparkly thread separate a lot when they're being stored so I've taken to just holding all the ends together with some low tack masking tape just to save on wastage. All of that aside though, the results are really beautiful.
I will post another picture during the week. I'm sort of "flitting" with it at the moment because on the first page, I worked all of the girl and globe, etc, then left the sky which was REALLY boring so now I'm doing a bit of colour and a bit of sky to try and break it up. The bottom right of the design is mainly all sky

Latest pic just as I've packed up for this evening. Going to finish a bit more of the sky before I carry on with the girl's gown and feet. Some of the threads are really "close" to the limit. Because of the wastage on the light threads, I've accepted that I'm going to have to buy some more to compensate for this but, as I said up there ^^^, once I've finished this piece, the pattern will be up for a loan and I'll include the light threads to save a few pennies for peeps. The original picture was definitely taken with a flash as I've photographed again tonight with the flash and it does go very blue. Also the light threads all show up very "white" where the flash hits them. The effect without the flash is far prettier and realistic!!
I'm actually more astounded each time I photograph it as you really don't get the full effect looking closely at it each day.
PS. The markings where the hoop have been are actually shadows - it isn't THAT dirty hehe
