It's good to move on and work on different areas now & then I think! The border is coming along great, makes it look like the cover of an old fashioned story book or such like!

Be careful about washing with loads of colours... us a bit of salt in cool to cold water with a dash of washing powder or liquid because the salt keeps the colours from running if you havent washed the colours before i learned that from grammy and swear to it ... it really works... dont use warm water then your colours might run not sure i followed grammy and never a run yet... in 35 yrs of stitching... tip of from the peanut gallery.. :D i'm doing presents now just finishing up hope your ok after the funeral

Anyway, here is a bit more progress to show - the dragon now has one ear and a bit of neck - and I've done a bit more of the border, too:

Thanks!

I'm afraid I'm being quite slow with this one. I was with my other TW design as well! It's all those fiddly little bits of colour - a few sts here, a few there, isolated sts, constantly changing threads, not noticing little errors until much later, and then having to decide whether I need to unpick or whether I can work round round 'em... sometimes I unpick....................... no, really, I do! :shifty:

Wonderful FD!
I know the constant colour changes make you feel slow and like you aren't getting alot done at a time, but just looking at what you've done so far, it's definately going to be worth it. It's going to be fabulous!

You are all so sweet! Thank you! And when it's finished nobody will spot the mistakes but me and TW, and she won't be seeing it!
