This is going fast. How easy is the pattern to follow/do? Since I only get about 1 hour of stitching in every 5 or 6 days a week it would take me a whole month before I could take a picture for every 20 hours.

Thanks! I'm really enjoying this project, especially now that the dragon is coming along.

I don't think its a difficult pattern to do. There's a lot of fractional stitches (which I do as 3/4 stitches), but I don't find them difficult. I haven't done any backstitching yet so I can't comment on the complexity of that.. I think its a fun design, and I always do one color at a time when I stitch, so everytime I work on it, I feel like I've accomplished something. That may also be because I rarely ever stitch for less than 2 hours, and up to 5 or 6 hrs at a time

Wow! Talk about amazing!
I'd love to get that many hours uninterrupted stitching, must be great to see lots of progress at the end of a stitching session.

Looks fantastic anyhow.

Really, really gorgeous. I usually stitch like yourself, filling in blocks of one colour at a time, however, WHEN I start my HAED, I'm going to try the 10x10 blocks of stitching so that'll be something different for me. Absolutely loving this and the run of photographs at the start really show your progress. :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:. Looking forward to your next update.

What a great WIP to watch, it'll be lovely to see regular updates on this one. Before you know it, it's going to be finished, framed and hanging on the wall! Great work :)

The 5 or 6 hours at a time usually falls on a day that I get out of work early and decide I'm not going to do anything else besides stitch for the rest of the day... and this includes housework, LOL!

Yes, and I'm going to hold you to it now - that's the second time you've said you want to stitch it! :D I think it would look great on some different fabric - I was searching around online and found this pic of The Castle which says it was stitched on 32ct Opalescent Lugana - Heavenly Sky by Sugar Maple Fabrics. I think it looks really cool with the blue in the water and the gray sky.

That's an amazing fabric for it! You'd have to make very sure where to position the design though -- I'd be terrified I'd get it wrong :-)!

Yeah me too! I guess you'd have to draw the line where you wanted the background rocks to start, and then just stitch those first or something... I dunno, but the after-effect is cool :)
