Two lovely presents came in the post today. A beautifully stitched card from Mayne - thank you so much, that was a lovely surprise and it now has pride of place in my Christmas card display

And I also got my prize from Kute Kitty for winning the Christmas Carols Bingo game and what a great prize it is too    I have three original signed KK Christmas designs (when you are a top designer these will be worth a fortune!!) and a cute little reindeer bag filled with three pieces of glittery fabric, three gold needled, plus all the floss needed to complete the designs including three bobbins of beautifully shiny rayon floss. And, as if all of that wasn't enough, I got I got a CrossStitcher 2009 diary as well!

Thank you so much for such a lovely prize, I'm sooo delighted

My ego got ahead of me a bit there - but it's good for a giggle! Really glad you liked your prize :) I said it'd be Christmassy themed!

Yes, I got the 50 DMC threads I ordered from Katsxstitch last week - part of my Christmas present  . They are so beautiful! I ordered all that I need for the Celebration sampler, and started to fill in my collection with some of the missing colours. They came about one third the price I can buy them in the shops. Even with postage. :)

There is also a note about something they couldn't put in the postbox, as I was out shopping, I have to go and pick it up tomorrow in the post office. So excited. :)

NO :( I ordered the fabric for the sampler we are all going to do as an SAL and I still had not got a confrimation e-mail saying it had been shipped. *I ordered it last Saturday* I sent them a request for an up-date. When I got home tonight there was a message.....oops we miss placed the order but we will get it out to you today. I also ordered a snowman tree skirt. At the time I ordered it, it was in stock. The site said it was there well know with the delay it is out of stock :x I am very unhappy. I would not have started it right off but it is annoying that they messed up my order and what if I had not asked where is my stuff how long would it have stayed lost.

well technically it wasn't for me, but my mom sent the cats a present. I had to laugh because she actually addressed the box to Molly and Coco and it said it was from Grandma. I'm actually surprised the post person delivered it since they probably had no clue who that was. Anyways, it was two stockings full of cat toys. They've been going nuts over it since we gave it to them! :D

Yes it will. We bought another one a few months ago by Dimensions Gold series that is an eagle in front of the American flag. I'll be busy with eagles!

...oh, I also had some new stash too...

A 12"x18" piece of 14ct "Starlite" Aida which is cream Aida with a gold pinstripe running thru it. I also had a bundle of 15 new skeins, including some light effects DMC thread.
and the January 2009 edition of Cross Stitch Crazy which has a wonderful wintery Lickle Ted design.

So I'm thinking that the Starlite Aida and some of the light effect threads will go really well together

Yesterday I got the fabric that I ordered. It is beautiful. I am getting excited to start stitching our sampler SAL. I have one more blanket to finish which I am currently working on so I hope to have it done by New Year's Day. :x:

Then I can organize the thread for the SAL and do a bit more work on the Angel before I have to split my time.
