If anyone wants to stitch them, I charted them myself based on the origional game graphics...Then I put the chart up on my blog. You're free to use it if you want to.

I used ordinary sewing thread. I did a running stitch through the aida and shirt, following the shape of the design, them I cut the patch at the next set of holes around that and then Idid another stitch, not sure of the name (I brought my needle up inside the aida and t-shirt and down through just the t-shirt outside the patch) and it holds the aida very securely while also keeping it from fraying.

I'm feeling a little down in the dumps today :( Nothing really the matter. Chris is working and I'm feeling a little isolated as he's not got the time to kiss and cuddle me and make me all perky again after the dentist this morning. I'm sure he will tomorrow after his shift and he's slept. He did have a VERY late night this morning. So in an effort to perk myself up I decided to do a little me project for the craft room, or maybe even the hallway. Something not even slightly complicated as I'm tired too...

That's a lovely design and would be perfect to pop in your craftroom. You could use some yummy fabric to go with your satin threads too

Loved the Bubble Bobble and especially how you sewed it onto the sleeve. So clever!

Oh, didn't I mention that? A few years ago, someone on this forum gave me a wonderful birthday present, which I'm kinda embarressed to say has been sat on a shelf ever since. It's two pieces of metallic aida. They're too small to use in the huge fantasy designs I have, but I didn't want to waste them on something that wouldn't do them justice, so they've been sat there waiting for the perfect design. I knew it would come along, it just took a bit of time for me to find it.

I've gone wrong somewhere on the wings...I don't know where, but I'll recount in the morning and correct if I need to, or work around if I don't...

Thank you. I'm sure it will be an easy fix one way or the other, the great thing about this design is the only thing that wing touches is background, which I can adapt. It just looks fat and short instead of long and thin :P

Thank you Charmagn ^_^ They're all pretty quick stitches so it's not really hard to miss them ^_^

Thank you

I corrected one of the wings as I'd just miscounted and done 1 row wrong, but the other wing...I'm going to leave, every row has 1 too many stitches, so I'll just adapt it a bit.

I love them! (can't remember the name now... aarggghhh)
I completely adore anything that has them on it... Ohhh DRAGONFLY!
Pfftt... that's what I get if I'm tired and start to mix up Dutch and English

Have you decided yet where you are going to put it?
Things I love:

- Meeting up my girlies at premieres
- Cross-stitching
- Reading: Black Dagger Brotherhood, TMI, ID, Twilight, The hunger Games etc.
- Chatting
- Trying to learn other crafts
- My BF
- My cats

Love the Bubble Bobble design  - I had that game on the Atari, I loved the way their little feet move when they run... I've saved a copy of the chart from your blog, definitely one I'll be stitching! Thank you for putting it on there :D

*is nosey* What's the Dutch word?

You know what though? I only saw my very first dragon fly in summer! It was such a beautiful sight. I didn't think we got them in England because I had never seen one, and Chris is still convinced "hoverfly" is another name for "dragonfly" it isn't and they're nothing alike, but he obviously hasn't seen a dragonfly. I soooo wished I could have taken a photo, but it just didn't stay still, and after two minutes I gave up and sat watching it for half an hour! So BEAUTIFUL!

I'm thinking the Craft room would be a good place, but I'm not sure. It'd be nice to be able to display it to others too, like in the hallway, but I'll have to ask Chris what he thinks. There's a set of four, so it needs to be somewhere that can take all four, but that also won't look wierd with just the one.

You're most welcome! I'm glad you like it, I let Chris pick the colours as I didn't trust my monitor to get them spot on. I'll be charting some enemies and the logo later on to go with them, if you're interested.
