Well, I didn't buy anything, but I've been RAKed!!! By Carole! She sent me this one


from my wish list. I haven't stopped smiling for hours now, and it's been a frustrating few days up 'til now, so it couldn't have come at a better time. Thank you so much Carole!!

Funny. I was going to come here and let the horse lovers know there is a beautiful new horse design.

And I LOVE the new Spangler. I think he modeled it after me. /couch potato

Just FYI...if you're having trouble deciding what to buy and need more time, the sale has been extended and now ends on February 14th instead of the 12th.

As for Spangler, the drag let's are cute, but when I stitch one of his pieces, it will be one of his libraries or buildings. Sanctuary of knowledge is already waiting in my stash.

I love the library designs. That is definitely the way I'd go too. I have Fireside Fairytales in my wish list.

I have the mini Village Library in my Wish List (along with quite a few draglets or whatever they are called) and just got the fabric to stitch O Kitten Tree, both of which are Spangler designs. This latest couch draglet though speaks to the couch potatoe in me.

Couch Dragon is now mine! Along with Cooking by Candlelight and A Quick Break (bringing my Spangler total to 16). I was being really good and not buying anything until Couch Dragon came out!

Tracy, those are such great charts. I hadn't seen cooking by candlelight, but I have to admit I am totally enchanted by A Quick Break. I'm not sure if it was the coffee mug in Santa's hand or the picnic basket that got me. It is an amazing design.
I like to think of it as aiding the economy instead of depleting my savings when I add to my stash. As I've said, I am really good at finding excuses and justifications.

I hadn't heard of HAED before I joined here and now I have a hugh wishlist

I am going to buy 'a place of her own' and 'Eleanor of Aquitaine'. I'm also trying to choose between 3 of the Hidden Eloise charts - a dark fairytail, envy and war of the roses. I'm trying to avoid buying all 3 as i'm broke at the moment but i'll probably give in and justify it because it's a sale

HAED have sales every few months depending on what "Holiday" is next on the calender - so you can "spread" your purchases across them if needs be

I'm going to start a campaign for a thread called 'HAED ANONYMOUS'. I will be the first person to join.

I have started Selena Fenech's Small Things (have been taking photo's but am only on 2nd page so not much to see).

At the same time, I also bought Cice Tree, Love Me Not & Breathe in Breathe out.

As if that wasn't enough (I will be 100 by the time I finish them), this week, I bought 'Snow' by Maxine Gadd which will take me til I'm 100 all by itself.

AND I KEEP LOOKING AT THE WEBSITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What is wrong with me??????????????????? .

Im still in love with Mini Snow White and Alice I havent brought it yet, but thats only because I need to connect my printer to my netbook and get some ink for the printer first! and pay for my sons guitar lessons and school trips!! maybe a few months before Im in a position to get it.... in the meantime my new HAED wish list is getting longer, still theres only a handful of designs on it so far....

I love everyone's choices! I've told myself that I need to finish something before I buy anymore charts (especially since I've already got several HEADs that I haven't even kitted up, much less started). That hasn't stopped me from adding Our Secret Harbor (to go with Journey's End that I already have) and Steampunk Faery to my wish list though. We'll see how strong my will power is!
