Re: Canyon Flight update 2/14/2019
It’s hard to believe that I haven’t updated this one in a year. Life has gotten in the way a lot over the last year, so I haven’t really been posting. Now that things have gotten into a routine again with teaching, I’ve had more time to stitch. I’m trying a weekly rotation to try to make progress on several pieces. This is where I ended after last week’s rotation. Hopefully updating here will keep me motivated.

All your projects will look great when finished. On this one you are closest to the finish, so I am already looking forward to further updates.

BTW Welcome back!!

This is going to be fabulous. The thing about HAEDs is that you really need to be quite far from the stitching to make sense of it all. Up close, though, one really gets a feel for the zillions of colours. Well done.

I agree completely. Often I don't realize how much detail has actually come through until I step back or more often take a picture and then I can really tell how it looks. This is one of my favorites. Beautiful!Serinde wrote:This is going to be fabulous. The thing about HAEDs is that you really need to be quite far from the stitching to make sense of it all. Beautiful update! Life does happen and sometimes we don’t get the time we want/need to stitch, but every x counts.

Actually, I think this one has the most left. I’m on row 2 of 6? Rows.Podolyanka wrote:All your projects will look great when finished. On this one you are closest to the finish, so I am already looking forward to further updates.

It is certainly good to see this colourful one again and I hope life can now continue on quietly for you with little or not hassles.

The colours are so warm and rich, it is a fabulous project. I am in awe of how you can use the parking method and not get confused with all the threads. Looking forward to the next update..

Those aren’t parked threads. I have a terrible time with parking! Those are the tails of the threads. I find it easier to bring finished threads to the bottom or side to sew over rather than go under previous stitches on 28 count.poppy wrote:The colours are so warm and rich, it is a fabulous project.
