Finally, I have a finish on this!!
I picked up a calico bag from a local shop and popped the design on it.
I backed it with interfacing and the "fixed" it to the bag with Bondaweb. I then stitched around it to make sure it stayed put.
The bag was sat on the arm of the sofa being admired (by me) when in walks daughter who whisked it off to be used as a P.E. bag.

2022 is yet another year of the UFO!!
Great Wall of China,
Peacocks and Pheasants,
Birds of a feather,
Hardanger Table runner,
TW Peacock Tapestry,
Milennium Sampler,
Yes, they are all STILL in progress!
Never seen this one before. Great idea putting the design on a bag . I think you should have hidden it from your daughter . But at least it's going to be used (and admired ). Thing is, all her friends might want one too.

I can't believe I missed this until now!! I love how you finished it on the bag - I'm not surprised your daughter pinched it as given half a chance, I would have!!
Many years ago cats were worshipped as gods. Cats have never forgotten this.

As for daughter... I'm all for using stitched items, they're usually sturdier than they look, but I draw the line at using something this beautiful as a gym bag!
