The varigated threads definitely add a new dimension to it, Lisa. :applesauce:

Agi, I'm sorry to hear that you're having a hard time right now! I think there's been a night or two this week that I've pulled my stitching out to work on it just to have it sit next to me all night. Part of it's just being tired and the other part being my neck acting up again.

I hope to be able to stitch on this some..i am out of 963 so I have to drop by the store while I'm out today..

i am also going to look for charms for the one box where the sewing machine is..not too fond if it..may find a W and K charm for that spot as it's my initials..

Thanks, Busy-B! I am better now, I am having a rest at the weekend. Hope your neck is better.

Glad to hear that you're taking time to rest! My neck is a little better, but it's just aggervating. I think I actually strained the left side of my neck in October. I try to be careful how I position my neck no matter what I'm doing. It was doing better, but occassionally if I sleep wrong or spend too much time sitting in our recliner, it aggervates it a little. I must have really aggervated it over the last day or two and I don't know how. :?

This is a great idea - love the way the design looks so different depending on which colours people have picked and everyone seems to be getting on with it really quickly. It's also really interesting looking at how each person is working through the design, some starting in the centre, some doing all the blocks first - great SAL! Maybe next time I'll join in!

I am really enjoying doing this sampler. Made loads of changes to the colours so have had to keep very good lists for each section. Will put an update on tomorrow.

These all look great the different colour changes are very interesting to see but ultimately all fit with the piece you are doing. Have any of you thought about contacting the magazine to let them know what you are doing they may love the idea of you all doing it together but differently.

Nettie I was just thinking the same thing. I do think someone should email the magazine - I'm sure they'd be really interested.

I am not stitching today I am cleaning and packing. Hubby and I have to go pick up some parts that we bought recently so we will be gone all week so I thought I should leave you with a small up-date.

Image

I plan on taking this and my mystery stitch with me. So I should have a good amount of progress to show you when we get back.
