well you can sort of see the dodgy bit in this new photo ruthi.



Its the line just to the right of the wing as you look at it, where the sun ends and the wing begins *edit* its less visible on here than it was on my computer when I viewed the images- it looks more like a wonky line now*

There's been a fair bit of frogging and repair work so not as much done as I would have liked, but its not looking too bad. I've got the plant she's lying on to complete, and her legs/skirt and its done. There's a teeny bit of backstitch to do around her arm and on the buds but I cant do that yet, and I don't like how it looks on the buds so I might modify that too.

I break for Easter on Friday so I should have more free time to finish this by the end of the Easter break at the latest

I did this pattern on my fairy afghan and truly know how difficult it is. and mine was 18 count aida cloth (I think) not your fabric which would have been much harder I think. Are you planning on doing "Day Rising" also?. I have that one yet to go. Will probably do most of the others first because this is really the hardest one I think.

Definitely think this is worth and a when you have finished her.

awww thanks Carole! This one has been a bit of a nightmare with pattern errors and mr froggie coming to visit and the fabric splitting.

I've already done the Day fairy and this is the second in the pair. I have frames waiting too. I have a few modifications to do to Day I think, and I'll try and post a pic of that one finished and this one finished at the same time

Another update (wow I'm doing well with this regular update thing at the moment!



She's almost finished now thank goodness. The buds are complete and I'm pretty sure all of the blue is done now too. The backstitching is complete apart from on the buds, but I don't think they really need it - I think they look great as they are so I may just skip that bit.

There's not a huge amount of plant left, just 1 colour where she is sitting and 1 leaf to go under her head area. Then its just the pinky/purple swathe of skirt. This bit is lots of confetti though so it might take a bit. I have 2 weeks off now so I'm hoping that my fast stitching arm is on

Another update cause I feel like I've done loads in the last few days. This is good considering I've been ill (again )and super busy even though its the holidays



The only part left is the swathe of skirt between her feet and the blue of her skirt. I'm hoping that goes as fast as the rest has.
