well its taken me a while to get this one up My camera has been broken but anyways
This is what I'm stitching at the moment
Its being done on I *think* 28 count even weave in what looks like a cream or antique white.
This is my progress so far
The wings are done in one strand over 2 strands of the fabric - I think. I hate doing 1 over two. I dont like the coverage but this needs it for the effect of light shining through the wing. I'm so glad to be doing it first this time so I can get on to the 2 over 2. Theres a lot of colour changes but not too much confetti - at least not yet

well here's the progress so far on this. I havent been able to do as much as I wanted due to work and other commitments (boo hiss)
I'm off now for a week because of half term and I'm hoping to get at least the 1 over 2 on the wings finished. Its just a case of filling in the gaps, all of the outer edges of the wings have been finished. There's lots of spirals and colour changes but thankfully not much in the way of confetti stitches
