That is exactly why I chose this one. I saw it and knew I had to make it for a friend's 1 year old. I love all the bright colors! I'm heading out to Michaels today to grab the threads I need, and should be receiving my fabric next week! I'm really excited to start this one.

You guys have made some great choices for this sale. I actually bought the Sistine Chapel on January 10th, knowing I wanted to stitch it and wanting to see the chart right away. I love the BAPs and I have enough now to last for many years. I'm trying to be good and apply some logic. (1) Is this a piece I want that would jump to the top of the list of charts to be stitched next? (2) If this piece was retired tomorrow, how upset would I be not to have it?

By the way, do you know that next week, February 13th through February 19th, is Random Acts of Kindness Week? I got an e-mail from my University about it and checked online. It looks like Carole got started early!

well, dear friends, i did it, too. i went to the HAED site to checkout the new charts and i saw that the sale was still going on. guess it was extended again.

I stayed away from the sale (after I bought Tabbies and Blueberry Kitten the first day). I figure I ought to at least start some (and I did start Tabbies 2 days ago, but its no where ready for posting - waiting on anchor black threads to arrive from 123 Stitch, since I'm doing 1x1 on 22ct Hardanger and the DMC black is worthless for that) or do a bit more work on the ones I already have going,before I get more. Which will probably happen at the next sale (St. Patrick's Day ???). Good. in one more minute the sale will be over and I will be safe!

Carole, the odd thing is that the HAED sale was supposed to be extended to Midnight CST tonight, February 16th. I'm in the CST Zone, and it's only 11:24pm. I just pulled up the site to find the sale prices are already gone. Last night the prices were gone after midnight, only to be back up in the morning. I don't ever remember the HAED sales prices being taken down early before. Theresa

I decided to finally put together a wishlist, so I could see all my favorites at once. Turns out I have 14, which I think is alot, given how long I know it would take to ever finish them and because fairies and faces just aren't my style. I guess I better hurry and get back to my current stitching, so I can start moving a few charts from my wishlist to my in-progress list.

Not sure yet but I think it will be 18 (over 1) or 36 (over 2) count as that is what I am doing the tiger on and I find it enjoyable to stitch on!!
