Yes, I do. When I started a few stitches, I was shocked at how smooth, soft and easy it was to pull the thread through the fabric. After I finished the giraffe, I was wondering why it is so different from DMC? I didn't realized it was silk until I looked at the information on the back of the tag. My DH told me that it was expensive to buy but wanted me to do the "African Safari" according to the chart. I even got the linen to go with the threads. It will be an expensive project. I think I died and went to heaven when I am working on the project. It is my first time working with silk thread.

Blue Crab ....I am stitching this panel for "charity for older children and adults" cross-stitching group. The theme is "SeaLife". The deadline is end of April so I am focusing on this until finished then will be back to my regular rotation of stitching projects that are put on hold for now.

Progress as of March 18th..... It is raining outside and a bit too cold to be in my garden so I spend the afternoon stitching.

before I read what you were stitching I tilted my head and thought "that looks like a crab"... so obviously you're doing a good job on it!!

Excellent finish on the crab.

I hope he didn't get a headache when you held him upside down.

Lovely work Sue. I think the safari design is especially fabulous and will look beautiful stitched up in the silk.
