The backstitch on this has an amazing effect, the blossoms look so delicate!

I really love japanese designs. I went to Japan twice and fell in love with the country and now I just love anything japanese. I have quite a few japanese designs in my stash and your beautiful picture has made me want to do a geisha next. Really lovely work, well done :applesauce:

Finished!!!! Yiphee, Although I feel a little sad, I feel like I have given a part of myself to this project, if that makes sense. Here are the pictures, I included some close ups so you can see the cording that outlines the inner edge of the kimono. On the face there are some twisted lazy daisy stitches. I found these really hard and wasn't a hundred percent happy them but from a distance it all looks good. I also included a photo of my fathers 'fathers day' card that I mentioned in a post. Posting on here and everyone's positive comments have really helped me move along with this :applesauce:

Wow it's gorgeous! I know what you mean about being sad about being done though too! You spend all this time putting all this effort into something and it's a great achievement but a little sad at the same time because you no longer get to stitch it! It really is beautiful though and you should be so proud! :applesauce: :applesauce:
