That's no reason not to buy more

I'm trying hard to resist the mini sale, but I think I'll be caving on at least one chart. I'll know more when I get home.

I HAVE RESISTED!!! After getting two in the Valentine's Day Sale, I was doing well until the mini's were also added to the sale. I have always liked Sunflower Cottage but couldn't justify the postage for just 1 mini chart and couldn't bring myself download it instead (I like to have my charts nicely printed).

If I had to think about having them mailed I might be better behaved also, but it is sooooooo easy to download them. I am going to try very hard to resist during the next sale, which I am sure is right around the corner.

I'm afraid I was a bit bad... Got 4 minis and 2 large charts...

That makes me feel better Dana, cause I only ended up with 2 regular and 2 minis.What did you get?

Here's the new acquistion!

Only one mini for me, so I guess I did well resisting. I still have some minis in my wish list though. I decided that I have too much on my plate to buy more today.

I've been resisting the minis for the most part since I already had the regular size charts of the ones I was interested in. But the sale made me cave in and get some that I didn't...

I have been good and not bought any HAEDs for the past two sales but it has happened after reading this thread.
I got Mini Mary and QS Grace Faces. I love the stain glass look of the first one and I'm thinking about breaking up the second one into three but I won't get to any of them for a long time.

So many amazing charts. What a sale they have had with us! One neat thing is that if you look up one of the charts on the website and scroll down, it will show the other charts that you bought too. Or that other people may have bought also. Unless like Dana you bought enough to fill the page I would have too except I bought mine in two seperate batches. Indecisive, I guess.

My 'haed' feels a bit woozy this morning . I think I may have overindulged yesterday after having bought 9 HAED charts in one day . I see it as having my cross stitch version of pancakes before the start of the period of denial. I can see the period of chart acquisition denial will last for a good long time, because it's going to take a very long time indeed to get through that lot!

You are going to be very busy for a very long time. But so much fun.

That sounds like a lot, but if anyone has a chance of getting them finished I would think it would be you, Vanessa. Last night I was telling my sister about our HAED purchasing marathon yesterday and then realized that I have a two drawer file cabinet which we purchased years ago just to store all of the charts and stitching books that I used to buy when the craft stores actually sold them and I had two local LNS also that I would go to all the time. I would see a book with charts "I might want to do" and get them. So I figure that my purchases online are actually less than what I used to do.

I said that I was an expert at coming up with excuses, justifications and rationalizations that explain purchasing stash (as if that were required). Just ask. I haven't looked at how many I have as I have also downloaded some of the freebies from the HAED site, but I don't think I have anywhere near 35. But then I started later.

I think I had an addiction for buying them at one point and people kept buying them for me for birthdays etc. I really need to get rid of some of them because I will never have time to do them all. I am a good girl now though I have stopped buying them.
