I didn't realize it's been almost a month since my last update. Anyway, here's where I am today. I'm a little disappointed in how it's turning out. The colors are a lot darker than the image on the kit, and it seems like the curtains don't have that sheer effect. They look more like they're hanging in tatters :( Maybe I'm just being too fussy, but the white looks so bold. I thought about starting over using lighter colors, but I really don't want to. I'm hoping as it goes along, it will look better to me.

I think it looks beautiful. I am sorry you are not happy with it. That can make the stitching difficult. :(

Its very pretty! I don't think I would have noticed the curtains looking like they are in tatters if you hadn't said something, but if you aren't happy with it then it doesn't matter. Maybe it will get better as it continues...if not maybe if you frog the white and go back with ecru it will look better to you?

I really like your project and you are progressing very nicely. I do hope you don't get discouraged with it. Sometimes you just need to trust the design and once it is done and your not staring at the minute details and it's on the wall, it will look much better to you.

Do keep up the good work. :cake:

You are doing great with this. Until you mentioned about the curtains I thought the sheer look was very well done.
