You mother's work is beautiful! You are so fortunate to have it, especially those WIP's. Are the needles in them the ones that she used or where you've begun working on them? No matter, how wonderful to be able to finish them for her. I stitch but my daughter hasn't shown any interest. It's great that you shared her love of stitching. Thank you for sharing with us.

It's funny that you should mention the needles because I was just thinking about them this afternoon...they are indeed the needles that she threaded! I'm actually considering leaving them threaded and incorporating them into the pieces somehow. Not sure I can bring myself to use up the thread that's on them and re-thread them!
