That is so effective with the black and white cat on one diagonal and the others sort of across them, and the background picking up from the cats -- it's going to look stunning!

Oh this is really different, it's going to be amazing! Are you sure you only want to put up monthly updates? We could cheer you on much more if you stick lots of updates on for us ... (nothing at all to do with us being dead nosey :whistle: ).

Hi everyone, long time no see.
Had a poorly Mum and a couple of bereavements but am now back on form.
I did say (in June) that I would post an update in approx a month but as youhave heard, things have not been condusive to stitching.
Anyway, here is where I'm up to with this. The black is an absolute bu***r to stitch!!

Looks a great design but all that black I think I would have prefered stitching the white on the black instead of the other way around.

I haven't seen this thread before - what a great design and you've made lots of progress. I can imagine all that black being tedious, one of my projects has loads of black in it in big blocks. The cats in this are gorgeous, especially the first one with its bright green eyes!
