Wonderful start on a beautiful design. :applesauce: :applesauce: I am hoping to start my first HAED today as well if my last few threads arrive in the post. :)

Another wee update. I'll try and keep it regular. My niece said if you turned the stitching sideways, it looks like a gun. @rotfl:. So far the project is coming along well. I haven't made a mistake yet. I hope.

This would probably be a bit annoying as you've already made a good start, but if it's too tight with 2 strands on 25 count had you considered just using 1 strand? I tried 2 strands on 25 count and found it way too difficult to stitch, but 1 strand is really easy.

You've gotta start somewhere - and you've made a great start.

I know from other WIPs that HAEDs are deceptive in that there's not always too much to show for a great deal of time spent stitching. We understand!!

Great choice of design - keep going!

Just a wee update on what I have done so far. I didn't do any stitching over the weekend cos I was away out and when I came home, I was wrecked. The update you see was done mostly last night.

Guess this will probably comes out of the blue to yous guys. :) LOL. I lost my stitching bug big time what with stuff going on at work at the time and I got fed up with stitching in general. So the bug came back and bit me hard the end of last month or beginning of this month. LOL. So I have started gettin back into the swing of things. I'm tempted to start another HAED so I can maybe rotate project just so I don't get bored again. And btw nice to see ya all again. :)

Sorry for the bad quality of the pic. I took it with my iPod. But I have done a lot more since I started again. I will upload a pic of what I have done so far. I would say I'm about a 3rd of the page completed.
