i got a free kit of likkle ted recently from a cross stitch magazine. I started it when i was inhospital and it's damn hard to sew under the influence of drugs Anyway, decided to finish it today and have now renegated it to the UFO for next month cause I am over it. I made a few mistakes ect and having to fix them up and do the odd stitch I missed here and there is doiung my head in. I am probably just going to make it into a card yet i spend quite a bit of time on it due to my mistakes so decided to leave it now.,..next month I'll look at it.

I am going to pick up my Pelicans ( in gallery0 either tonight or tomorrow and get that done before the pelican becomes extinct

I finished putting together another 4 favours last night. Oh, how my fingers were cramping by the time I had done them! Have decided NEVER to make a batch of biscornu favours ever again. If I didn't love my friend so much, I'd be abandoning these - LOL!

I didn't think I'd be joining in this month because of our trip and trying to get things together for other things going on. However, I started a UFO without even thinking about it. I haven't touched my SAL with another group for several months (about 13 weeks behind). Since I wanted something easy to take on our 2 day trip, I pulled the threads for several squares. I've gotten 1 1/2 done and hoping to do some more tonight.

TB don't worry we won't make you work til Monday will we Sarah and Rose. In fact I didn't stitch any last night. Steve and I sat down after tea and fell asleep. Neither of us woke up til his alarm went off this morning I had roughly twelve hours sleep as i got up two hours after him!

I'm planning to join you guys next month, I have the princesses for my daughter I still really need to finish. But for now I am trying to get my son's stocking done. I am ALMOST there. I have 3 pieces I've actually started stitching on. I've kitted my hubby's stocking and starting on it soon after I get my son's stocking done. I'm hoping to have at least 3 done by Christmas.

I've been ploughing on with my backstitch. I had run out of 898 which was the main backstitch colour and thought I would have to abandon it, but amazingly a bunch of threads turned up the post yesterday which I ordered for my HAED and lo and behold, 898 was one of them!! Bottom section of backstitch now finished so I just have to do the BS around the horoscope symbols in the middle, complete the last two of the symbols and this project will be finished.

Here's a pic of the bottom section - thought it would be easier to see in thirds rather than altogether.

Well, I've got the backstitch done on 6 of the horoscope symbols now. I will be able to complete 4 more today and then there are just two left to stitch which I'll finish next month as my lack of DMC 726 is preventing that, since it's one of the main colours.

If I've got any time left before the end of this UFO week I'll use it to add a couple of animals to my afghan, since that has been forgotten for a few weeks.

I know we don't like doing bs but it does bring out the design.

It's funny because I always think I hate backstitch but when I get started on it, I don't mind at all. Good thing too as there is probably more backstitch on this design than anything I've ever stitched before - it's everywhere!

Finished another 3 favours last night. 2 more nights to go of UFO week, so I'll have to see how much more my poor aching fingers can stand - LOL!
