Thanks everyone. Finished reading Mark of Athena, so I'm going to be getting back to this tomorrow. :x: that I can finish it then.

Finished! It's a bit hard to see in the pic (though plenty visible on the piece itself), but there are pink hearts inside the red boxes.

It's nice to have a finish again. Haven't had one in over a month.

Thanks.

I spent a few hours designing a bookmark based on the music video for Gotye's "Somebody I Used to Know". Going to stitch it up later and make adjustments to the pattern as I go. And then maybe I'll finally manage to get my etsy shop open this week. :x:

It was pretty much only one day. I got 1/3 of the dragon's backstitching done on Friday, but then rest of it was Saturday afternoon/night.

All right, so after several days of not being able to stitch on the blackwork project because of back pain, which resulted in looking through my stash and cataloging the projects I would like to stitch at some point... then buying all the floss and fabric for my Avengers project... and getting that all bobbinated... and finishing up stashmas stuff... I ran out of stitchy things to do.

SO. I decided to start a small project that can be done in hand as I still can't sit in a position that lets me hold a hoop or sit at my frame stand. It's going to be a Christmas gift for my sister's boyfriend. Any guesses as to who I'm stitching?

:applesauce: Great start on whatever it is you are stitching. I don't have a clue (as usual) as to what it is. But I am glad that you found something that you can stitch without hurting your back. Sounds like you got as organized as possible for when you feel better, which I hope will be soon.
