Where are you putting the beads?
Are you going to mount it? and how?
Thank you! On the chart, the green clusters of 4 crosses (in between the red and pink hearts) are actually clusters of 5 (with a cross in the centre), but I'm putting a cream bead there instead, just for some interest and texture. I'm planning on getting it framed (I'm checking ot local framers) for them as I'm not confident of my own framing skills and have only put very small projects into cheap frames before now. I don't yet know what colour mount I'll go for, but possibly I'll match it with the red colour in the stitching, as it's a lovely, rich shade.
I shouls actualy have this finished tonight as Xander had a really good nap this morning and I finished all the stitching and now only have the beading left to do - hurrah!
Hey - I've done it! Finally learnt how to upload pictures thanks to an old posting I found of Rose's.
I haven't touched this project for about 8/9 years. I'm going to start doing the backstitch on the bits I've done and as this sampler is divided into squares I will continue to do the back stitch after each square is complete. This way I won't get disheartened by the amount of back stitch. I'm a really sloooooooow stitcher on big projects as I have to leave them for the weekends. So this will be a slow one I'm afraid. But with your encouragement, I'm sure I'll complete this eventually.

As a result, I now have the whole week free to pick up another UFO, so I'm going to see if I can finish a small freebie kit I started ages ago and have got pretty close to finishing. This is where I'm up to on Bold Blooms:
Well done on your finish, Kell, that's lovely! Great that you've been able to get on with another UFO now!
I managed to finish the left over backstitch on mine last night after we got home from Cumbria and just have two horoscope symbols left to finish now. Hopefully I should complete it this week.
CURRENT WIPs
HAEDs - Bubble Telescope, Floatilla, Rainbow Embrace, Ray of Light, Iron Dragon, Newport Lighthouse

I have this as a ufo too. Maybe I should get mine out.
2022 is yet another year of the UFO!!
Great Wall of China,
Peacocks and Pheasants,
Birds of a feather,
Hardanger Table runner,
TW Peacock Tapestry,
Milennium Sampler,
Yes, they are all STILL in progress!
I think I am going to pick up my Blackstone Phantasy Garden again this week - it is not officially a UFO but I haven't worked on it for so long now that it may count as one...

And yes, i finally managed to do something about my Silk Alphabet -- the B is finished, and I'll post it in its own thread with a silk comment. I'm really pleased that I got a letter done, and will try to work on the BoInk for the rest of UFO week. The problem with both these projects is that i really need to stitch them sitting at the dinner table in good daylight, while most of my stitching is done after 8pm curled up in front of the telly with DH...
Cecilia, that looks like an interesting project. I love the border on it. * wonders if I could design a similar border for SIL's wedding sampler since I'm not completely happy with other things I've found *
I'm not sure yet if I'll be joining in this month. I'm trying to get a jump start on my current WIP *need to check to see if I can share photos here*. Maybe I'll take the Kinkade project to DD's gymnastics today.
WIPs: There Be Dragons, Feed My Sheep, Canyon Flight HAED, Lotus Flowers HAED, Christmas Cove
Maybe next month because I'm giving my Bucilla tree skirt a whirl - not cross stitch but a nice change and it definately needs completing before Christmas this year.

I know it isn't cross stitch so forgive me but I really need to finish this.
Here is how I started the week.

Midge, any needlework is welcome here and this is very cute!
I finally picked up my BoInk again and managed to do some more of the green and black outer border -- not enough for a picture yet, but I hope to post omething by the end of the UFO week!
I dug out my Tutankhamun superchart design (that I started last year when I re-started cross-stitching) for September's UFO. I even bought a frame for it to spur me on to finish.
I like this UFO SAL and I'm glad that I'm not the only one with 10 year old UFOs!
