I have just been catching up with the thread and a your stitching is really beautiful and I'm astonished at how much you've gotten done. You seem like quite the speedy stitcher. How do you do it? Do you have multiple projects at the same time?

I think Oma is Dutch for grandmother. I loved being called "Oma" instead of "grandma". It also helps separate the many grandmothers in our family and avoid confusion for the little grandchildren.

It is -- and it was a great help when I got my two step-sons, as they could call my mother Oma to distinguish her from the English and Sri Lankan grandmothers they already hadsocialsue wrote:I think Oma is Dutch for grandmother.
