Fantastic job, Sarah! I bet it feels good to have one of ur projects done!
I am half-way done on my Gingerbread men "Happy Holiday" banner. I was away camping for the past 5 days so I did some stitching in my RV. But it is hard to stitch without my Ott lamp and magnifier glass. I will post a photo of my progress soon.

Not much done on my UFO project...was only able to work on it for a couple of nights...I was resisting the urge to just take a rest (sleep early) due to work fatigue at the office but I was determined to work on my UFO even for just a little progress.... so here it is..

( had finished the backstitching almost halfway for Autumn and started a bit of the farmhouse...)

Charmagne, that's a lovely project, and

to you for picking it up even though you were so tired.
Trojan is coming on great, Sarah!
Jen, the Firfly Fairies look gorgeous, and she's sure to love them.
My UFO week will have to end with what I did last night as this week is going to be rather busy, but I'm quite pleased with my progress on BoInk, even though I find it is much slower going than anything else I've ever stitched -- I have no idea why.
Pictures in the BoInk thread!

Sorry folks! I'm not going to post a picture of where I've got to in my Millennium Sampler this time round as I did so little stitching you'd hardly notice any difference. Things conspired against me this weekend. (unexpected visit from parents yesterday and Saturday I couldn't seem to get going for some reason). Hopefully next month things will be different. Fingers crossed

I'm up to the backstitching on "F" now - hurrah! As I'm off to bed just now, I'll post a pic tomorrow to show my progress. Am very pleased with my progress overall this UFO week - finished 2 projects and did a fair bit of work on a 3rd one!

Well I've been slowly working on getting the M finished on the Margaret Sherry Alphabet. I posted back in July that I would finish it in that month's UFO week

but I didn't actually get any done then and have only been working on this at work during UFO so progress hasn't been much.
Where I was in July:
Where I am now:

I finished my "Happy Holiday Gingerbread Man" banner. This was my UFO from last year but I had to put it aside. I am glad that I dug it out of my stash for this UFO club. Now to decide how I want to finish it for this coming Christmas holiday.

Great work everyone. I'm just off to post my picks of my progress on my ABC baby afghan in my SAL tread (to save posting them twice). You can see them there:

Did a couple of threads to finish the inner square on Sunday night.
Next step will be to start the border in between the two squares.
Sorry for the bad photo, it's a dodgy angle and lighting as well as being my phone camera!

Love the cheeky monkeys, Kimkat, and

to all the others for your progress, even if it's only a small step at a time!

Here is where I got to with the tree skirt.

Back to Castles in the air for the next few weeks as I have almost completed part 4 and want to do part 5 before they release another part.

This looks so festive, what is the technique, is it felt/fabric over a wadding or stuffing?

It's very easy Mabel. It is felt applique and you stuff lightly with a polyester stuffing to make it 3D. The time consuming part is all the sequin/bead work. It is lovely to work on and very cosy to have over your knee in an eveing. I bought the kit on e-bay for less than £10 in P&P.
Even though I say it myself,

the photo doesn't do it justice.
There is quite a bit more to do and the braid to stitch around the edge so I will be doing this again next UFO week.
