What a lovely idea Dawn, looking forward to seeing it!

Doesn't time fly, another UFO week already *tuts gently*. I think I won't be doing a lot, but I'll try to do my BoInk at the stiching group on Monday, which is stll inside the UFO week.

Otherwise I'll be working on my shopping bag (see my general SAL thread) which I would very much like to finish before the Knitting and Stitching show, but I doubt I've got a hope...

I think I'll work on Stonehenge this time. I only have one more page to go and last time I came very close to finishing a whole page in one week. If I can do that it will be another WIP project I can cross off my list.

It's official - I am no longer doing that flippin' butterfly design for the reverse of the cushion - it will have a plain back instead. I've stitched half the 2nd butterfly tonight only to now realise it's all one stitch too far down. This is the second time I've had to unpick this butterfly and the first one was plagued by the frog too. Also the design itself isn't mirrored properly and is full of mistakes, so I'm giving it up as a bad job. I shall unpick the whole damned thing and use the fabric for something else instead, and use a plain cream backing for the cushion. I shall finish that off (the front of the cushion id the Japanese blackwork blossoms) and then move onto my Mam's Laura Ashley Home Sweet Home sampler instead.

Am really p*ssed off now. Have wasted the entire evening on those bloody butterflies - yet again! :x

I'm sorry Kell. :(

I am picking up Taby's princesses tomorrow, at least I am going to try. My daughter had the flu the past couple of days and my son acts like he's getting it. Hopefully not, he has a school field trip tomorrow and a friend coming down from Atlanta for the weekend.

Anyways, I'll post a pic of where I am tomorrow. Taby will be excited I'm working on it and I can start on her Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs after I get the other two stockings done.

Sorry about :ribbit: kell. I've dowloaded that pattern but haven't got around to stitching it yet. Have now looked at it and yes there are a few errors  so I'm not surprised you've had trouble.

Well, what little "stitchy time" I've had today so far I've used unpicking the damned butterflies. I have half a butterfly and the centre bit to unpick and then I'll feel better. Perhaps I will actualy find another design for the reverse and I had set my heart of the cushion being reversable. I'll have a look through my charts tonight and see what I could possibly use and thenI'll hopefully be able to make a start on it tomorrow and THAT will be my UFO week project! I just feel that I've wasted so much time on that damned design I never want to see it again!

I'm going to try and do a bit more on my Millennium Sampler this weekend. Hopefully I'll do enough to make it worthwhile posting a picture. :x: That's the problem when you've only got the weekend to stitch. :(

I've finished unpicking the butterfly design and the fabric, thankfully, is fine, so I've gridded it up ready to start the newly picked design. Unfortunately, as my stitchy time is in the evenings and I'm going out tomorrow night, I won't be able to get started on it until Sunday night - argh! So, I'll only have 3 days of UFO week left, but I'm hopeful that I'll get the majority of the design finished in that time if I really push it!

Sorry about the frog, Kell.

Great work, Sue - I have seen that hanging cat before and It is lovely.

I am getting out a very old UFO - my winter project. Didn't finish it for last Christmas, put it away, and then forgot all about it
I am only starting tonight - since I took my folk pattern with me on my trip, and only came back yesterday, so my UFO week will be a bit short.
