Ooh, Pooh Bear. One of my favourite children's stories. Your progress looks great! :applesauce: Welcome to the forum, by the way.

I've just finished the "boring parts" and thought I'd post an update before I start on the juicy bits:

Image

You can see the outline of where some of the characters heads will be.

I hope I've finished it by the end of November as I'm eager to start on something new. I've got a shed load of Disney kits, a shed load of Winnie the Pooh kits and some Wizards/fantasy type kits - oh and a Tiddles the cat kit.

Any suggestions as I'm spoilt for choice? I don't fancy another Pooh though - one at a time's enough.

:applesauce: great update. I'm with Karen and would go with a wizard/fantasy chart for a real change of pace. the others sound tempting also. That's why I started rotating projects since it helps with my indecision.

Mmmm you do have quite a collection to chose from Shaun. I guess it depends on whether you want another brightly coloured one or something a bit more "quiet" in colouring.

Love your Pooh one and now you can start the fun bit with all the animals. Well done so far.

ooooh, I spy Myles Pinkney designs! My vote would be one of the bottom 3, I have several of his on my HAED wish list. The colours on the ones you've posted look different to the HAED ones though.

As for your Winnie the Pooh project, it's gorgeous. I still have an unfinished Pooh one, the fractional stitches made it soooo not enjoyable for me.

What lovely choices. mechie is doing the fall fairy. It is a lovely design. And I think someone is doing the first one also. I would love to do those myself. And your 4th one down looks like fun. I guess any of them is a great choice. These are among life's hardes decisions.

This one, cos it has a dragon in it as well as a wizard. It's the one I'd go for, anyway!
Plus, his beard is smaller than the other two!

It's a Designer Stitches kit and as they no longer exist, I found the kit on ebay. I think it's a shame when that happens. There must be a wealth of cross stitch charts out there that are discontinued and forgotten about.

I've started filling in some of the characters now. I'll post a picture in a couple of days when I've done some more.

Here's an updated picture:

I've just spent most of the weekend on it. I've also got the next kit out of the box and can't wait to get started on it. It's the Magnificent Wizard kit by Dimensions. Only thing is, it's on 18 count black Aida and uses fractional stitches - my eyes!
