I think it is looking very good. As I said before, I admire your stitching on the black fabric. Glad that you are getting used to it. I don't see anything that looks rough and I'm sure no one but you can. And now that you have been properly introduced to Mr. , I hope he stays away.

Thanks for all the lovely comments.....I look around this forum and it makes me feel sad because everyone is so fast.
This project has a special meaning for me and I want to get it done so I can move on and stop thinking about the recipient of the gift
I make mistakes....lol, find the large amount of colour changes a challenge as well as the black aida.....any tips anyone?

I wouldn't worry about stitching quickly. When there are lots of color changes it just slows you down. Some of mine go fast because there are large blocks of color and sometimes it takes forever. If you are having to rethread every time you change a color that may be slowing you down. I keep each of my colors threaded so that does make it faster if there is a lot of confetti. For big projects (like HAEDs or Teresa Wentzler for eg) it does mean a lot of needles and you need something to keep them straight. I use the plastic bobbin storage boxes but there are needleholder cards needleholder cards like this one. You may already have a system that works for you. I think you are doing a great job.

Thanks for enlightening me, Mr. Froggy normally visits after the rose wine has taken over the stitching......ROFL!
Artists/stitchers are their own worst critics. I think it looks terrific!

So here is my update.....I'm really getting into it now and quite pleased with it so far, plan to have it ready by august....it's took me almost a month to do the 1st page.....theres 9 pages, and they are not all full pages, plus I'm now used to stitching on black, which helps! So I think I'm pretty much on track! I want the 1st page completed by the end of the day!

This is looking really good. I'm glad that you have gotten used to working on the black fabric. That ought to speed up your stitching too, now that you have a deadline. And I'm glad to hear that Mr. has gone on vacation. No need to be entertaining him at all!
