Jen, I found the idea for the 10 hour rotation at:
http://www.shakespearespeddler.com/nomoreufos.html but I'm keeping my number of pieces in rotation low because they're all large. I actually don't have any problem keeping my symbols straight. My chartpacks are each in a poly envelope on a small table by my stitching chair, so I take out the needed pages as I stitch. The large HAEDs have their own bobbin box, the Anniversary Sampler uses just one variegated silk, and the other sampler I work off my master box of floss.

Looking good!!
Envious of parking, must make it much easier to pick up and just start, no working out where you are!! Tried parking and just spent to much time stressing whether I was using the right colour!!! Don't like marking my charts either!

Looks great so far - well done!
Also, never seen the parking technique before... that's what I love about this forum - you can learn something new each time you come on here.

Great progress Theresa
You're right, this is a very enjoyable stitch
I'm envious of the parking too. Do you keep your needles threaded or do you take them off when you park? Whenever I've tried parking I leave the needles on as I detest threading them and find that I end up with needles all over the place

. Any tips would be most welcomed

Jo,
I do not leave my thread in the needles when I park, but re-thread the needle as I move along. Parking didn't make much sense to me until I found Becca's Pictorial Parking Tutorial on the HAED BB. I also found a direct link to it on the net at:
http://cross-stitch.livejournal.com/722655.html
My actual parking is slightly different from Becca's. I work in rows across the page rather than in 10x10 blocks. I also take my tails to the back rather than leave them on top. Basically, though, it's the same.
