That yellow thread makes a stunning effect, it seems to be lightened from behind!

I have been working on this for exactly 3 weeks now and I was a bit worried about this fitting on the aida, (Dimensions are not very generous with the aida) but it will just be Ok, so here is this weeks update

Oh it looks stunning! I'm glad to hear that it will fit. I'm always scared of cutting the fabric to the wrong size myself.

It is really gorgeous and you are doing so well with it. I am sure that you will have it finished in time.

I agree about Dimensions being less than generous with their fabric so now I usually stock up on aida in the same colours and use that and keep what comes in the kit for small projects. That way I have enough fabric to make lacing easier.

Squirrel.

Well I didn't get around to posting a pic last week but I have just run out of one of the colours, I think I am quite careful with how I use the threads in kits. start with a loop when possible and not carrying the threads over too many stitches etc but I need to do about another 20 stitches in the very dark brown.

I have emailed them and they will send some more thread but it will take 10-14 business days, just for a small amount of thread to come letter post,   I don't think this is very good service, I was hoping to have it finished in the next week or so. I have never run out of a thread before and I may think twice before buying anymore Dimensions kits although there are so many oth them on my wish list :?
