What a cool project, to do a pointillism painting in cross stitch! The stitches will match the dots of color in the original...will look awesome!

Finally completed page 1 :D Then made the mistake of working out that page 1 is about 8% of the whole piece. Oh well, will just have to get stitching then.... :lol:

Have you seen the original painting in the Art Institute in Chicago? It is huge and magnificent. One of my all time favorites. Always made sure to see it when we went there.
I hope you will keep working on it and give us updates. You are doing a great job. Stitch by stitch is just like "point by point".
