Although I won't be joining in it's lovely to see so many forgotten projects being brought back to live again. Good luck to you all and you must feel really pleased when you complete them.

As I mentioned earlier, while I was motivated last month I did a second week on my UFO (but I still didn't manage to finish M!) and finally got pics taken:
Closeup of M (one day I'll get it finished

)
The whole project (I've still got to go back and fix up the backstitch where it is loose)

Well done on your perseverence with the butterflies, Kell, it sounds like they've been a nightmare!
Your alphabet is coming along beautifully, Kimkat!
I haven't had as much time as I'd like for stitching my current UFO (Trojan) as OH was visiting for the weekend so we've been busy doing other stuff and going out, but I've managed to do about a third of the next page so far. Still 3 days to go so I'll crack on each evening now.

Now, now, TB, that

hurt.
I managed to catch up to where I should have been last night with Trojan so with still tonight and tomorrow left before UFO week finishes, I might just about finish the page, although one of my colours ran out so there might be a few missing stitches. The colour is amongst the last lot I ordered though so it should turn up any day.

I think I'm going to have to drop out till Parkland Waters is done. Very annoying as I want to do little bits on my TW but I have a deadline to meet! Will be back with you all in the new year.

I found a UFO I didn't know I had.

It was a christmas decoration I started last xmas, I had done 3/4 of the stitching. I finished it today, horrified I had a UFO I didn't know I had, did the outlining and rest of the picture. Shall post a picture in my SAL thread in the next few days.
I think accidently finding a UFO you didn't know you had is terrible. I should be banished to bad cross stitcher chair.

*pats barb's hand* there there, it's not that bad -- you may have found a UFOIDKIH (UFO I Didn't Know I Had) but you're working on it now, aren't you? So you get the GOOD stitcher's chair in the Stash & Grab!

It's the last day of UFO week already! I'll be getting some stitching time again tonight but last night I was so tired I only got in a couple of stitches before realising if I didn't put it down I was going to end up being visited by Mr Frog! So, due to unpicking and having to start a new design to finish this project, and then being knackered, I haven't done nearly as much stitching as I'd hoped, but it's looking not too bad and I will definitely go on and finish the project over the course of the rest of the month. I'll be glad to see the back of this one now!

This is what I have done so far. I will be away all day today due to my birthday celebration so I am not sure if I will have time to add more stitches after I get back. I have the bottom part left to do. I will definitely be able to finish it before the end of Oct and move on to my next UFO for Nov. I will submit another photo when completely done with my "Hang in There".

aw, so cute. socialsue. I dont normally do "cute" things, I like stuff that goes in my house well but that particular one, I have been looking at for quite some while now doing the yes and no with myself. I keep having on my "watching" list on ebay, then I take it off, then I find it again..I'mn thinking I might just find it again

This came with light blue aida. I am using 28 ct hand dye light blue Jobelan or Laguana, I forget which, for this design. I will use the aida for a different project. If the design is for me, I usually switch to evenweave because I like the soft feel and the holes in the fabric doesn't show so much. If the design is going to be an ornament or for exchanges like mailart, etc, or kids in my family circle, sometimes I will switch to aida fabrics. An example would be tooth fairy pillow for one of my grandchildren.

I'm not getting as far as I would like with my UFO.

But I am getting other things done. I finally finished a leather pillow I was making for my boss. I stuffed and closed up last night. In exchange for that favor he's going to do a woodworking favor for me. He's going to make some longer dowels for my scroll frame. I might just stick with this project (Stonehenge) until it's done. I'll almost be there anyway so I might as well.

Oh well done everyone. Even a little bit of progress is still progress. (Kell, so sorry about

)
Well at last, I managed to finish the first box of my millenium sampler. Here's what it looks like.

Aww, your kitten is so cute, Sue, well done on your progress!
Barb, glad to hear you finished a long forgotten UFO! Looking forward to a picture.
Cecilia, well done on the first box of your sampler. I love the colours in it and such neat stitching!
Here's my effort. I was delighted that a batch of threads I had ordered arrived today (including a colour I had run out of on Trojan) so I was able to complete the page of the chart, which was my goal for this week.
Here's a picture before I started last weeK;-
And here's where I'm leaving it until next month:

Great job everyone! I haven't really done any stitching this week since I've been feeling bad. I did pick up my traveling project to do a little stitching on last night since there's large blocks of color, but not enough to show any pics.
