Half of my EMS nbr are done. I stitched each number onto a fabric Christmas design and then wrapped the present. This is a going "Green" project for my son, DIL and grandson. They can use the fabric advent calendar every year if they want to. This is a way of not using paper wrapping since most goes into the garbage after opening the wrapper. I took a photo so that I can mail them out soon. I will be working on the last half and hope to have them done before mid-Dec. LOL

P.S. I should have started on the nbr during the summer. LOL

I'll be picking up Xander's Alphabet Afghan for UFO week. There's no way on earth it'll be ready for Xmas, but I'll perhaps get another letter or two done (in between wrapping Xmas gifts - LOL!) during this week.

Unfortunately I won't be working on a UFO this coming week. I am desperately trying to finish the Kinkade for MIL's Christmas present. I do need to start doing a couple of strand lengths each day on my model stitch since I haven't touched it in a couple of weeks.

I am going to end up with a few UFO's if I am not careful. How long until something becomes a UFO

I don't know if there is really a set time frame before something becomes a UFO - it can be that you discover something that you had started and forgotten that you had, or a project that has been neglected for a few months/years as a different project came along that just had to be done.

I shall be starting on Trojan again tomorrow - only 2 half pages to do so I'm hoping to finish him this week.

Always loved reading this thread but now I think I ought to join in.
My storykeep design that was a freebie SAL is rapidly becoming a UFO so maybe you lot could poke me into doing some of it this week.

My Christmas cards keep being pushed aside by other projects, so I must really try to stitch at least four during UFO week, not counting the one I'm halfway thorugh at the moment.

I too will be joining you ladies this month. Since posting my Santa's Cuisine WIP about a month ago, I have not made much progress. Life has gotten in the way. And, what little free time I had was wrapped up reading the Twilight books. My schedule has been crazy- I am ready for it to return to normal and I have my stitching time again.

So, I will be working on the backstitching on Santa. There are areas I can do now even though the whole piece is not completed yet.

When I left off my afghan, I was half-way through "G". I finished all the cross stitching on that and began working on "H". I still have the bckstitch to do on "G" hough. I figured I'd finish "H" and "I" (both are very simple) and then go back and do the backstitch on all 3 together...

I have started on Trojan - on getting the project out again, I was delighted to find that there's less to do than I thought - just a strip 24 stitches wide all the way down the right hand side, not full half pages of chart like I thought. I'll easily be able to get him finished during this UFO week. 472 looks like it's going to run out, but I should be able to get some on Saturday if it does, then I'll be left with 2 HAEDs and the ship on the go - time to start another new one then!
