Thanks for the poke Agi. I need it! Last night I didn't even pick any sewing up which is very unusual for me. Our house is lovely but SOOOOOO cold and all I could do was curl up under a fleecy blanket on the sofa. Will try to get storykeep out tonight, I promise.

I've started on Tink, she has a head now!!! and just have to finish her hair and her wings, and then there is a ton of back stitching. :( Not ooking forward to that. But it will look really nice in the end I think.

I had started "Grandmother's Work" by Janylnn http://www.stitcherscloset.com/sek/prods/02-1005.html" target="_blank two year ago! I changed a few things, hair color and blanket color to match my son. The only thing stopping me from completing it is backstitching... uck! So I'm going to use UFO week to hopefully get all the backstitching done and cross this off my to do list

I know last month I said I would work on my Bears but when I took everything out of my bag I started working in Mother instead. I didn't get much done because other things had to be dealt with.

This month I really want to finish page 1 of my HAED. I don't know that I would call it a true UFO yet, but I'm so close to finishing the page I've just got to do it. I've only got a couple hundred stitches to do that normally would be one good evening stitching. Unfortunately after an eye apt last week my doc said I shouldn't wear my contact lense in my right eye unless I absolutely have to. I've got a scratch on the part of my eye that has coned out and things could get very bad (I have keratoconus). For my left eye when I had cateract surgery they put in a lense for distance so reading or seeing things up close is hard to do. Even more so now that I can't see anything from my right eye. I can stitch using A LOT of magnification, but what would once take me just one night to do will probably take me all week to finish. :( Once I get a new special contact for my right eye things will get back to normal.

That sounds very painful Pengween. I hope you will get a bit of relief soon and that the new contact shows up soon.

Wow everyone art is so so fab! finished or not. I am Going to work extra hard on my unicorn and I will post a picture on the 7th. It is just one of those large ones so no matter how much I stitch a day I just don't feel like I am making any progress. :-(

Oh no!
A promise is a promise so i shall work on my ufo tonight....but I have just got home from work to discover a new sewing job waiting for me. Another HAED which I shall work on for months and then have dragged away from me!!! I suppose I shouldn't moan as I will be paid for doing it.
It is blue mask without background.
I guess as it is not a new design but just being stitched as a model it will be ok to have a sal on here?!

I really admire your dedication doing those model stitches! I'd think it would probably be all right to show it here, but just to be on the safe side why not ask them?

I am now on EMS "17" ..... I will be spending the weekend doing the rest of the nbrs.
I won't be doing another Advent Calendar again...it does gets tiresome after awhile. Sigh!

I guess I missed out on UFO week again! I am thinking starting at the first of the year that I am going to start religiously working on either Chessie or Catch a Falling Star for the UFO week. (And hopefully that will be a new year's resolution I can actually keep!)

It's the 2nd Dec and I haven't started stitching my UFO yet. How did that happen??!! I'm at my friend's house tomorrow night so I can stitch some them. I also keep finding more UFOs. I'll try to post a photo too.

Trojan is looking good so far for finishing, probably before the end of the week. I had 2 pages of chart left with a strip 24 stitches wide and I've completed the first of them and done about 200 stitches on the second one. This bottom strip has lots of the same colours in it so I'm hoping to be done by Saturday. I think I'll use the last couple of days of UFO week to work on HMS Victory. It's not really a UFO, but other than that I only have HAEDs on the go and Bubble will become my UFO after Christmas.

I have been working on Tink, finished some of the backstitching on the bottom half. Do we get till Dec 7th midnight?!!! I think I may be able to finish by then. Or at least hoping I can!!!!

I am working on my winter one again, although didn't do any last night. Will stitch today, though, as I am not going to my dance lesson, because I feel too poorly. :(

i worked on my bunny for the 1st half of today but then my head called :oops:
i may do a bit more on it tomorow
to be honest i did more than i thought but not enough for a pic yet anyway
