Fab design and it's looking great. I love the way the yellow stands out. I'm thinking you chose just the right amount of colours as there's some nice texture to it
Thank you so much everyone! On the health front, I've finally been able to get an appointment tacked down with a hematologist. Hopefully, by Monday, I'll have my 3 other tests scheduled (MRI, MRA and sleep deprived EEG). I'm hopeful that the doctors will be able to figure out exactly what went wrong so we can avoid this kind of mess in the future.
As far as my stitching goes, page 2 is complete!!
I was nervous at first about the amount of colors that I had decided to do, but I agree that it provides a lot of texture to it. Only one more page plus a 10x42 block of stitches left to go until this one is done. I'm so excited to see it finished!
Great stitching! I am sure it does help. I really hope they can find what caused yor problem and a quick treatment. How are you feeling now?

I'm feeling really good now. I do have days where I feel more tired than usual and have moments where I just can't think of what word it is I'm trying to say, but I don't know if that has anything to do with what happened. We've just passed the one month mark without any further incidents, but we're keeping our eyes open. If it was in fact a TIA then I'm still at a 30% risk over the next 2 months to have a repeat occurence.
Good luck with your appointments. It sounds like a lot of poking and prodding.. so they better find something out!
As for your stitching.. It's looking so cool!

No joke! The next tests coming up are a MRI, a MRA and a sleep deprived EEG (translation: lots of time to stitch while trying not to fall asleep). Add into that the trip to the hematologist where I'm sure they'll need 85 vials of my blood and the total amount of poking and prodding goes almost beyond reason. They'd better at least be able to tell me something after all of this madness!

All of the black for the last page (plus the small bit at the end) has been completed! I'm working on the very dark navy blue (aka also black) parts of it now. Next will come some of the yellow so I can see what the finished product will look like!
This is a fun project but I'm ready to be done with it!
