My husband is a big Starcraft fan and really enjoys this particular player's podcast. I'll actually be doing this project twice: once for the hubby and one to send to Day [9].
I had a chart made out of just the main logo:
and will be backstitching the small white and yellow words on my own.
Started the project last night (Feb 3, 2011) and here's what I got done so far:
The gridding is difficult to get used to at first, but I'm liking it so far. The black stitching on black Aida is expecially tough
I usually will stich one whole color until it's completed before moving on to the next, so jumping from color to color is a bit of a challenge as well. I like the way it is looking though so I'm gonna stick with it. I mananged to get the first 10x10 completed in the time I had yesterday. Here's to hoping this is a quick project!
