Well I think it's time for an update. I have finished all the floss stitching including metallics yay! and the backstitching double yay! and now it's time for the beads.....tentative yay!

Actually I'm finding them not too bad atm but I can see me getting very sick of them and not wanting to bead anything for a VERY long time by the time I get finished with this!!

I was a little disappointed too because I ran out of the beads which are on the top portion of her dress, I thought it was my mistake but when I checked the chart it does state that only one pack is needed So now I have to wait for some more before I can see that section finished....I hope I have enough of the other beads as it would be really frustrating to have to wait for more to come through the post to finish it off, especially as I want this finished and framed by the 1st of July! I have enough.

She is just beautiful and you did her in such a short time for such a detailed project.

Oh she looks amazing. I feel your pain with the beads. I am doing the mermaids and there are a ton and it is so frustrating. Good luck with the finish!!!!!!!!!

Well I am trying my best to get this finished....and the end is in sight! So time for a little update methinks.



I have used 3 full packs of beads so far and a few extras! I only have about 4 more packs to attach because I have replaced some beads with metallics, hopefully they won't be full packs.

I had a bit of a drama whilst ordering the extra beads I needed, thought I would order from Ebay to save a few pennies but when they arrived the plastic package was stained brown and dated 1996 also the beads themselves were very dull and faded , that'll teach me to try and save money!! Anyway my spanking new extra pack of beads arrived today from Sew and so and I'm off to stitch them on.
