Aww, it must have been so lovely to be there and see the genuine pleasure she got from such a personal gift.
It was a lovely thing to do for her Rose and I'm sure she'll always treasure it.

How nice to get a wonderful reaction face to face. It is so nice when somebody really appreciates what you have done.

I have stopped stitching even small cards for people who don't even bother to comment. (Aren't I a grump :lol: )

You are absolutely right, Mags, if someone does not appreciate the meaning of a stitched card, they don't deserve it. I made a small card for a friend in school, and she put it on her noticeboard, in a place of honour, as she says, she wants to see it all the time. Isn't it nice?

I'd have to agree. When you think of the thought and time taken in even small projects for someone, it is nice to think they are appreciated. It just doesn't make you feel you want to repeat it if the other person doesn't seem to care or get any pleasure and enjoyment from it.
