Well, besides taking care of my grandmother, school events, soccer, model stitching, and trying to keep up with things at home, my mom and I have had quite a few cake orders lately. In fact, I'm doing 4 half sheet cakes for a retirement party on Thursday at DS's school where 3 teachers are leaving this year. We also have at least 2 more wedding cakes in June plus SIL's wedding in October. Here are some more that we've done since the beginning of the year.

"The world, as a colourful knot of threads, has turned into a memory, and now you cannot be sure whether it was real." (Géza Ottlik, Hungarian writer)
I know people who called their children pumpkin, or actually "pun'kin". (I was always called 'lambchop' by my mother, which I hope sprang from the puppet rather than the tasty comestible... )
Did you use that fondant (have no idea how spell it) it on the present one? Your cakes are amazing!!! It truly is such an artistic outlet. My friend designs cakes and some of the stuff she does just blows my mind!

Yes, the ribbons and bow were rolled fondant. I really don't like the stuff!
