Here's my mid-April update on this one. I tweaked the picture in Photoshop a little so you can see the different colors a little better; the camera on my phone takes such dark pictures!

I love watching this WIP, and I see you've done a great progress, congratulations!

What a fabulous present this is going to make. Has your friend any idea that you are doing this or will it be a complete surprise?

New piccies today since I've gotten a lot done this week. There's a lot less confetti in this section so it's flying by.

Here's a pic from April 18 so that you can see the righthand side of the work:



Then I moved the fabric over in the frame to work on the left side; here's where it's at now:



I wasn't happy with using my 8x8 Q-snap because the fabric is about 9" wide. Not enough fabric to keep it taut. So I disassembled my 8x8 and my 6x6 frames and made two 8x6 frames. That's working perfectly!

Looks great!! Good idea combining the Qsnaps too, I've done that a couple of times and it really helps big time!!
