Great work all! And as for the UFO queen....

well, it may take a few UFO weeks but I'm sure we can diminish that pile a bit over the coming year!

It's the 4th already and I have only worked on Wrath since the first! But the OH is working tonight and tomorrow night so I think I will pull out one of the other two projects since I said I was going to start doing these UFO week's...I'd be happy to just finish off page 2 of either one.

Agi, well done on finishing your winter piece, it's beautiful.
Charmagne, the four seasons are coming along wonderfully, I really love this one.
As for me - I decided to finish HMS Victory during this UFO week and I've done it - final piccies in the HMS Victory thread.

I finished "M" tonight, so that's me for this UFO week - my aim is to do three letters each month and that's what I've done.

I can now spend the rest of the week on my Basket of Biscornu challenge...

Happy Stitcher wrote:This is a really neat idea! I'm a bit late for joining in this year but I think I might be coming on board with it next year. I've got a family tree design I've been putting away so often to start on something new. This will be a great way for me to stay motivated or risk having a red face at the end of a week!!
No, you're not late! The idea is to stitch on a UFO any time you have during the 1st-7th of every month. Just jump in whenever you want!

OK, we're halfway through the week (more or less) and I'm FINALLY starting to feel some progress on my UFO. I'll post a pic by the end of the week but I'm just hoping I start to "feel it" a little more on this one. I want to like it, hubby keeps saying it looks nice, but it's just not doing anything for me yet. Grumble.

I did it!! I picked up Chessie last night and put in about 200 stitches..I think there is about 200 left of page 2 but it's very confetti heavy. I'm hoping to finish it by the 7th though!

Thought I'd stop in and comment on my progress.. I think it's going really wellwith my dolphin ! I didn't have to take everything out.. Teenage me was pretty smart and at least broke everything down into sections..so it doesn't matter if the colors don't completely match..you wouldn't even really know. Phew!!!

I looked at all your projects and they are really pretty!
Here is mine: Summer Welcome by Paula Vaughan. I work on it every sunday with friends on a french board, so I'll post a pic here at the begining of each month!

Hello Everyone!!!
Happy New Year to all!! I did my stitching in December on Peaceable Kingdom, but then didn't get around to showing photos. I took some, they're on my work camera. I then forgot to download them!!!

I've been doing some more stitching for this week and I've made fair progress on some leaves. My lovely husband bought me a digital camera for Christmas - Yippee!!! My own camera!!!

So, hopefully, I'll get photos of this week's progress on here much quicker. I just have to learn how.
Good Luck to all with their stitching!!!! I've got another snow day tomorrow, so I will continue to stitch tonight and do some tomorrow too.
Sammy xx

I must admit despite my good intentions by pledging myself to the UFO club, I have struggled to make much progress on my Monet.
So this is me saying, next month, after I have (fingers crossed) finished moving house and settled in I will hopefully have some progress to show everyone.
Congratulations to those of you who have stronger resolves than I and have been successful and accomplished things this month!

I'm tapping out a bit early... I did my goal amount, and now I'm going to work on the continuing process of putting all my threads on stitch bows.. technically it's an unfinished project

Right, it's official now -- I'm a human jellyfish with no spine or perseverance whatsoever

. Instead of living up to my good intentions with the Alphabet and BoInk, I've been doing a piece of Hardanger

. I just can't seem to motivate myself -- partly I think because neither project is something I can easily do in my evening armchair, which is pretty much my only stitching time apart from weekends in between shopping and newsletter writing and so on

. I will try to work on them occasionally, but I think I'll abandon any attempt to regularise it!
