Had to put my little Woodland Folk collection on hold to make some Mother's Day cards:

And this little card I made for my father because it was such an adorable pattern I couldn't resist (please ignore my awful first attempts at french knots haha)!

Now, back to Sally Squirrel! :D

The one you've done for your Dad reminds me so much of my cats when I lived at home. That was totally them and it used to drive him mad as he stood there, their slave, awaiting their decision!

The cards are beautiful!! :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

I really love the one for your dad …. Mark and I suffer everyday from the indecision of cats (although I think they do it deliberately to drive us batty!!) Regardless of the fact we have two cat flaps Mark wants me to sew epaulettes onto his shirts so he can look like a proper doorman!!
:kitty: Many years ago cats were worshipped as gods. Cats have never forgotten this.

*Laughs out loud* It's such a "true, so true" picture :)

He also has a cat flap but I think Tizer doesn't like it because he's very much a "need to check who is out there first" cat and hates to be surprised by one of the neighbour's cat mid-catflap-exit hehe.

Thankyou once again for your kind words!

That is certainly true of my cats, I spend half my life opening windows and doors despite the fact that they have a cat flap. Love your Mother's day cards and the one for your dad is spot on :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

great cards! The kitty one is great, really gets that unique way cats see the world. Our cat is _supposed_ to stay in, so of course he always tries to run out!

You are really cracking on with these! They all look gorgeous. It's nice to see someone so engrossed in a new craft. Watch out though, or you'll be running into the "not enough wall space" problem like me! Might have to start a rotation system with mine (or else persuade hubby to pay for a "gallery" extension on the house!)
