Midge, I just looked back to the image you posted in your first post, and your stitching looks far more subtle and delicate than that model -- I realise that was not a stitched example, but even so -- are you finding that the colours you are using are different from that image?

Yes I am Mabel.
I think that the pixelated photo is much brighter than the real life stitching. When all the colours are laid out it is a really mellow, subtle mix of shades.
