Chart of the African Safari Sampler that I am stitching on 32 ct Berry Spritz linen with Glorianna "Peacock" thread. Wow !!!! I am definitely falling in love with stitching on this material and thread. So soft and easy with lovely color thread....I just couldn't wait to start on it. I guess I have a bad case of start ism....
The start of my stitching in the middle of the fabric. The light doesn't show the color of the fabric well but when done, I will use more light in the living room.

If you are doing the entire project, including the frame, then the stitching area is Count:137w x 135h
For 14 count aida this would be a stitched area of about 10 inches by 10 inches, so 14 inches square likely would be enough
for 16 count aida, stitched area would be about 8.5 inches by 8.5 inches and for 18 count aida the stitched area would be about 7 3/4 inches by 7 3/4 inches

thanks so much!! You guys still amaze me with all this!! I have 22 count at this time...but will prob go and buy some 16 or 18 as I may want to hang it on the wall and smaller than 7 inches would be the smallest I would want to go. I could put that in a decent size frame...like an 8x10 or 11x14 right?

I bet it will look very nice all done up---I'm still deciding if I am going to do it all up as a big project or just stitch the designs up individually for cards

Tooth Fairy ornament for grandsons..... I stitched 2 ...one for my oldest son's family which has 4 young boys .....and one for my 3rd son's family ( a son)....
My oldest grandson is losing most of his baby tooth and my DIL was having trouble exchanging the tooth for money underneath the pillow without waking him up over the years so I decided to stitch the tooth fairy ornament for her. The bottom half is a pocket to put money in. ( Near the "Close Sleepy Eyes") She has 4 boys...all under age 9.

Very pretty and I may have to find that pattern to stitch for my niece and nephew and eventually my own children at some time...you could put it on a little tin to place under their pillow on the side of there bed!!!

Progress on "African Safari"
This is getting interesting as I progress along.... I am stitching the elephants underneath an African tree. The fabric is supposed to be like the African sunset in the background. Both are just lovely to work with.... 32 ct Zweigart Berry Spritz and Glorianna "Peacock" thread.
