I hope so BB. As it goes along the parts stich up really quickly in fact after pt 4 (the peacocks) it only takes a couple of hours per part.

Thanks for that info, Midge! It will be nice to have something stitch up quickly. Especially with the little bit of time I have for the rest of this month until DS is out of school. This week is crazy, so I definitely need to find stitching time.

With doctor's visits and drug induced lethergy I haven't worked on anything yet this month. I have a project I started almost two years ago but for some reason put it aside. It's a Wild Thing birth annoucement for my nephew (he's now almost 2 1/2 years old). I think I put it away because it was a kit and some of the colors were so hard to seperate and they didn't tell me how many threads there were of each which made it harder. I use to love kits, but I've grown to loathe them now. I'll post pics later.

I just started my SAL thread for this project. Hopefully I can finish it this year.

Oh dear, I've missed this thread for a couple of months! I haven't had a UFO of my own to join in with and all my current chaos has had me going online much less and missing all sorts.

Anyway, looks like everyone has been getting on great with their UFOs. I have decided I will try and join in with the June session as my Mystic Stitch Indian & Wolf (which is supposed to be my morning project) has been getting abandoned as I haven't been able to find stitchy time in the mornings for a while. I will have moved house by the beginning of June so at least there will be less for me to do and I might be able to buckle down and finish another page of the Indian.

My week isn't going as well as I'd like. I knew I had made a mistake in the Panda's right foot but I modified the pattern and got something to work. Yesterday I was stitching the Panda's belly and the left and right sides weren't matching up. Turns out I had made a mistake in the placement of the Panda's right hand (which eventually caused the mistake in the right foot) now the belly was off. And after 5 minutes examining the pattern, the picture and what I did wrong I realized it's going to throw off the enitre square. I'll have to make modifications to the Pandas face too. Not looking forward to that. I got so digusted that I put it away and read a magazine for the rest of my lunch. Now I'm even more reluctant to pick the thing up and work on it than I was before. If it wasn't a kit I might consider froggin the whole right side and doing it but I'm worried about ruining the floss and not having enough to finish.

Well, I was never fond of a purple panda so I've been considering frogging it out and using black and white (with gray's for shading) so he looks more natural. I'm a little worried about the black and white background zebra stripes in the top left square making it look like too much black and white in the piece.

Pengwenn - sorry about the problems with the panda design. :( Maybe you'll feel like dealing with it if you have a break from it for a little while. :thinks:

Xandra - Lovely neat stitiching. Love the vibrant colours. :applesauce:
