opinions on craft fairs - UK

Post by amyalice »

Hi
does anyone have experience of the various stitching shows around the country? I used to go to Olympia but now live in the north. The only one I know of is at Harrogate but this year it clashes with our holiday, so I was wondering if it was worth travelling to any others? It would involve quite a journey so I was wondering if anyone would reccommend anywhere? Some fairs have very little x stitch you see
thanks

:thinks: Well, if you fancy travelling to London, the Knitting and Stitching show at Alexandra Palace would definately be worth it, as the name suggests, it has lots and lots of cross stitch stuff. I go every year and never been disappointed. :D

This year it's running from 7th-10th October. Here is the link for more info. http://www.twistedthread.com/" target="_blank

Sorry I'm a bit late with this, but I went to the Knitting & Stitching Show at Alexandra Palace last year and absolutely LOVED it! I found some supplies that I wouldn't have found anywhere else, and my only small gripe was that there weren't any hand-dyed fabrics, but that was all. I'm going again this year, and have a workshop booked too!
