I'm planning to stitch a ring pillow for my brother and his fiancee (there's no date set as yet so I've got plenty of time!) and the chart she chose suggests Kreinik silk mori for the stitching. Obviously I want it to look as good as possible so I'd like to be able to wash it before I give it to them, is the silk mori washable or would I do better to substitute normal Anchor or DMC floss?
(He chose a chart too, which I'm doing for their wedding sampler).

Re: Calling Mabel!
I've rinsed projects that I've stitched in Kreinik Silk Mori (I used the Milkpaints ones) and it was fine (didn't put it in the washing machine, but I believe they're colourfast). They are gorgeous to work with and have a beautiful soft sheen.
