Assorted magazines, chart books and books for sale

As I've mentioned recently, I've got very lucky on ebay and managed to pick up a large amount of stash for a very reasonable price. I've been going through it all and found that I've already got some bits, so I would like to offer them out to the community here. I'd rather sell than trade for them because I've recently gained almost more stash than I know what to do with already. (I said almost!) Unfortunately my camera has no batteries at the moment, it gave up when it realised how much photographing of stash I was going to ask it to do, so all I have is descriptions of these. I'll add photos when I can get batteries. Everything I'm offering out here is a duplicate of something I've already got, there are no illegal photocopies and nothing I wouldn't love to keep for myself if I didn't have it already!

I would like £1 each for chart books and magazines, and £5 each for the books. If you're interested in more than one mag or chart book, then I'll accept £1 for the first one and 50p for every subsequent one. I will ask you to reimburse me for postage but will charge you only what it costs me and will do my best to work out charges with the help of the Royal Mail website beforehand so I can give you an idea of how much it will be. Some of the magazines had cover gifts on them, I do not have the cover gifts, just the magazines.

Jane Greenoff’s Cross Stitcher’s Bible. THIS HAS NOW GONE

Sharon Welch’s cross-stitch cards. ISBN number 0-600-58274-4. I love this book, but I already have a copy! There is a brief intro covering how to do the basics (cross stitch, backstitch and French knots) and going into more detail on how to mount your stitching into cards. The cards themselves are separated into chapters – Birthdays, Christmas, Religious occasions (Easter, first communion and christening, other religious festivals – Hanukkah and Diwali), Weddings and anniversaries, Babies, Special occasions (Valentine’s day, mother’s and father’s day, Hallowe’en), general greetings (personal messages, children’s alphabet, best wishes and thank you, good luck, get well wishes, special events – “sorry you’re leaving” and “congratulations on passing your driving test” – and new year), national holidays (North America, the British Isles, Australasia), borders, and finally alphabets. The price printed on the dust jacket is £12.99.

That’s it then! As I said before, I would like £1 each for chart books and magazines (or £1 for the first and 50p for every subsequent if you're interested in more than one), and £5 each for the books, plus reimbursement for postage which I will do my best to calculate in advance for you (but remind me to do that because otherwise I'll forget!)

Everything has now gone except the Cross Stitch Cards book. A lot of the magazines went to a local mental health ward where they like to have any craft items for patient activities, one magazine is in the post to Agi, two chart books are in the post to Jax, and I'm looking forward to meeting up with Kerry on Sunday to hand over the Bible
